H4V

Before One Way Hope became a global mission, we were simply responding to a heartbreaking crisis in Venezuela. Hope 4 Venezuela (H4V) was founded to bring relief to families affected by economic collapse, political unrest, and widespread poverty—and most importantly, to share the hope of Jesus Christ in the midst of suffering.

While our ministry has grown to reach other countries, Venezuela remains close to our hearts. H4V continues to be an active part of our mission, representing our commitment to sustained impact and deep relationships with the people we serve.

What We Do in Venezuela

Gospel Outreach

Sharing the love and truth of Christ through word and action.

Food & Medical Aid

Distributing care packages, meals, and essential supplies.

Leadership Training

Equipping local leaders to disciple their communities.

Children’s Ministry

Creating safe spaces for kids to learn, grow, and encounter Jesus.

The Ongoing Crisis

Venezuela has faced one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, with shortages of food, medicine, electricity, and safe drinking water. Millions have fled the country, and many who remain are living in dire conditions.

But even in the darkest places, hope is rising.

Training Leaders. Empowering the Church.

Our approach is centered on long-term sustainability. We believe that by investing in local leaders, we can build stronger, faith-filled communities that carry the mission forward—regardless of outside circumstances.

We’ve seen pastors rise up in the face of hardship, churches become beacons of light in their neighborhoods, and lives transformed by the gospel.

Construction in Colombia

While the ongoing crisis in Venezuela has deeply affected the entire region, Colombia has become home to the largest number of Venezuelan refugees and migrants seeking safety and stability.

In 2020, we began training disciples who make disciples among these refugee communities. Today, by God’s grace, five church plants have been established, serving as spiritual and emotional anchors for those who have lost so much.

Now, we are praying and working toward building a dedicated meeting place—a safe space for worship, community, and growth. This center will offer vocational training, abuse prevention programs, and literacy education for children who are unable to attend school due to their legal status. Our goal is not only to plant churches, but to plant hope, healing, and opportunity for generations to come.
